Shirley Chen Perkins

Chief Financial Officer and Certified Public Accountant, has over 20 years’ experience in the field of accounting and finance, including 15 years’ experience in the governmental sector. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Kansas State University. She has lived in Taiwan, Okinawa, Japan, Thailand, Germany, and in eight different states in the US. She speaks fluent Chinese, Japanese, and English, and is familiar with German and Spanish. She has been the CFO for the Unified Fire Authority since its inception in July of 2004, and currently also serves as the CFO for the Salt Lake Valley Fire Service Area.
