Arriann Woolf

Arriann has been the H.R. Manager for UFA since its inception. Prior to that, she worked as a Senior Personnel Analyst for Salt Lake County for sixteen years. In addition to her assignment with the then Salt Lake County Fire Department, she has also been assigned to the Public Works Department, the Parks and Recreation Division, the Library System and several of the Elected Offices.

Arriann has a B.A. degree in Business Management, as well as an M.B.A., from the University of Utah. She emphasized Human Resource Management courses in both programs.

In her roles with UFA and Salt Lake County, the primary responsibilities include developing entry-level and promotional exams, developing job announcements, screening and evaluating job applicants, writing policies and procedures, determining the appropriate compensation level for various job classifications, resolving disputes between employees and supervisors, overseeing employee benefit programs and providing technical assistance on a wide variety of Human Resource issues.

Arriann has also been certified as a Professional of Human Resources (PHR) through the society for Human Resource Management.
