UFA CPR Training

We offer the Basic Life Support for the Health Care Provider Course. The BLS HCP Course is a two year certification through the American Heart Association.

Class times:

First Tuesday of every month at Taylorsville station 118 (5315 South 2700 West)

Third Monday of every even month at Draper City Hall (1020 E. Pioneer Road 12400 South).

The class usually takes about four hours beginning at 18:00, usually finish up around 22:00. There is a fee of $30.00 per person, cash or check. We are not setup to accept credit cards.
Travis Hanberg (743-7228) is the contact for people interested in having an instructor come out to their facility and teach CPR to groups, medical offices, businesses, etc. The fee for those classes is $30.00 per person and they need to have a group of 10 or more.

We no longer offer any First Aid, Heart Saver, Instructor, PALS, or ACLS classes to the public.

Fire Extinguisher Training:

Fire Extinguisher classes are not currently being offered.  There is extensive fire extinguisher training as part of the CERT class.  If you have questions or need more information, please call Community Services 743.7150.  You may also email communityassistance@ufa-slco.org

Are You Ready? Class

The Are You Ready? Class is an educational class that lasts approximately 3 hours, is free, and teaches citizens lessons of preparedness. It helps citizens prepare for potential disasters common to this area. ‘Are You Ready?’ classes are scheduled at various times throughout the year.  Keep your eyes on this section for upcoming classes.
