Community Services Bureau
The Community Services Bureau of Unified Fire Authority (UFA) is responsible for coordinating community events within UFA areas, teaching CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) classes, facilitating station tours, fire related media campaigns, and public education.
We participate in many diverse programs such as the Adopt-a-School program. This allows fire stations to be directly involved in elementary schools, teaching fire safety lessons.
We are members of many committees and committee meetings that are held in reference to emergency preparedness, planning, and communications.
We work with multiple city council officials and representatives to ensure emergency preparedness goals and needs are being met by UFA and by Salt Lake County Emergency Management.
The Community Services Bureau participates in a large number of safety fairs and large community events.
UFA fire stations are community minded and offer many free services to the citizens of Utah as well as any visitors that stop by. Our pages highlight many of these services.
