UFA also provides our citizens with Special Operations that include

• 2 Heavy Rescue Companies that are trained for structural collapse, advanced vehicle extrication, confined space rescue, high and low angle rescue.
• 2 Hazardous Material Companies that mitigate Hazardous Material spills and releases.
• 4 Search and Rescue Teams that include swift water rescue, dive rescue, ice rescue and back county rescue.
• Wildland/Urban Interface Tactical Team that works closely with the State of Utah and the Federal Government to provide local and inter-state Wildland Fire suppression.
