Unified Fire Authority is Utah’s largest fire agency, serving over 375,000 residents in the cities of Alta, Cottonwood Heights, Draper, Herriman, Holladay, Riverton, Taylorsville and the unincorporated areas of Salt Lake County. Unified Fire Authority employs in excess of 420 full-time employees as well as 80 part-time employees.

The Human Resource Division oversees the area of employee selection, hiring/promotional examinations, position classification, compensation, employee relations, supervisor and new-hire training regarding employment issues, Policies and Procedures development and administration.

Human Resources also acts as the liaison between UFA employees and our benefit program providers by conducting new hire seminars and by making sure UFA employees are properly enrolled in offered Benefits as well as Retirement Accounts.
